## Title: Business Development Manager – Affinity Channels

Job Summary

The role holder will be responsible for the development, growth, and management of insurance sales strategy through affinity channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute significantly to the development of the sales budget and marketing strategies for the affinity channel, ensuring strict alignment with overall corporate targets
  • Optimize the performance of affinity client accounts by scrutinizing profits, claim ratios, and adherence to service standards
  • Steer strategic planning for affinity channel expansion and growth, specifically encompassing product and program enhancements and the launch of new channels for business acquisition
  • Cultivate and nurture key relationships with affinity partners to maximize business return, profitability, and client retention
  • Lead and empower Affinity Channel Business Development Executives and Officers, ensuring they surpass established targets and operate within defined standards
  • Audit and enforce the implementation of sales strategies and policies to guarantee timely and complete achievement of targets
  • Assist in handling compliance reporting issues to ensure that affinity channels operate in line with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Offer necessary support to the affinity channel sales team to ensure they carry out their duties in line with set standards and procedures
  • Participate in securing new business opportunities by identifying and pursuing potential affinity channels
  • Set accurate and competitive quotations for insurance business and ensure they are delivered promptly to potential clients
  • Ensure prompt follow-up on insurance renewals to achieve retention targets in line with set standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field
  • Professional qualification in Insurance (ACII, FLMI, or AIIK)
  • At least 8 years' experience in insurance
