About the Role

We are seeking an Automotive Aftersales Trade Developer to drive revenue growth and market expansion across assigned dealerships. This position combines sales execution, customer engagement, market intelligence, and ground activation to achieve territory objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Sales Achievement

• Attain revenue targets across all part lines
• Drive sell-out sales and SKU expansion across assigned dealerships
• Achieve or exceed dealer revenue targets through proactive planning and performance monitoring
• Monitor conversion rates from the sales funnel
• Collaborate in setting annual sales objectives for the territory

Customer Support & Engagement

• Support customer engagement through forums and feedback collection
• Communicate information about new products to customers
• Provide customer insights by identifying and suggesting parts or services that meet their needs
• Adhere to CRM usage and route plans
• Ensure timely escalation of customer issues to the dealer

Reporting & Analysis

• Perform daily collation of target achievement
• Track and analyze monthly trends within assigned markets
• Prepare dashboards for weekly reviews
• Submit regular reports on territory performance, dealer metrics, and action plans

Market Intelligence & Activation

• Monitor and report on competitor activities
• Plan and execute ground marketing initiatives including road shows, market storms, and activations
• Ensure adherence to sales policies and procedures
• Recommend process improvements

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Graduate Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in automotive or mechanical engineering
• KCSE Grade C or above
• At least one year of experience in outdoor sales, marketing, promotions, merchandising, or brand ambassador roles
• Understanding of motor vehicle parts and services (advantageous)
