Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Embu University College as an Associate Professor in Nursing with a specialization in Oncology.

Position Grade

Grade 14

Minimum Qualifications

• Earned PhD degree in nursing or a relevant area of specialty

Required Experience

• At least eight (8) years of university teaching experience
• Minimum three (3) years as full-time Senior Lecturer

Academic and Research Requirements

• At least forty-eight (48) publication points, with a minimum of thirty-two (32) points from articles in refereed scholarly journals since appointment as Senior Lecturer
• Successful supervision to completion of at least five (5) Master's degree students and one (1) PhD student since appointment as Senior Lecturer
• Evidence of successfully securing at least two (2) research grants since appointment as Senior Lecturer
• Evidence of continued, active research

Professional Engagement

• Demonstrated attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops
• Evidence of active participation and/or leadership in university activities
