## Title: Assistive Technology (AT) Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Assistive Technology (AT) Coordinator to lead end-to-end AT integration across our organization. In this role, you will oversee specification, procurement, training, deployment, and lifecycle management of assistive technologies to enable learners and job seekers with disabilities to access education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities. You will operationalize KS 2952 and global standards (EN 301 549, WCAG) across training centers and employer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver the AT roadmap across skilling, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem workstreams
  • Specify, procure, deploy, and maintain devices including screen readers, Braille displays, AAC systems, adaptive input devices, and hearing and mobility aids
  • Establish fit-to-need assessment processes, asset tracking, warranties, servicing, and replacement protocols
  • Build organizational capacity by designing and delivering training on KS 2952 standards for participants, trainers, employers, and organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs)
  • Mentor youth AT operators and peer supporters
  • Conduct accessibility audits, track remediation efforts, and measure device uptime and user outcomes with gender and disability disaggregated data
  • Coordinate with partners and vendors including TVETs, OPDs, and employers; manage service level agreements and budgets
  • Contribute to the development of accessible curricula and platforms
  • Advance sustainability initiatives through AT financing strategies and inclusion in public procurement and social protection pathways

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, ICT, Special Needs Education, Occupational Therapy, Public Health, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • 7+ years of experience leading Assistive Technology, digital accessibility, or disability-inclusion initiatives
