## Title: Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering & Digital Electronics
Job Summary
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join the School of Science and Technology. The successful candidate will report to the Dean and be expected to teach, conduct research, and engage in service performance at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach at undergraduate and graduate levels in electrical engineering and digital electronics
- Support and mentor students in their career endeavors
- Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure programs remain current and marketable
- Participate in program assessment and reviews
- Supervise students' research projects, thesis work, and dissertations at undergraduate and graduate levels
- Conduct research in your area of expertise
- Engage in service to the University, the profession, and the community
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant area from an accredited university
- Minimum 3 years of teaching and/or research experience at the university level as a Lecturer or Research Fellow
- Minimum 32 publication points as a Lecturer/Research Fellow according to CUE Standards & Guidelines 2014, of which at least 24 must be from refereed scholarly journals
- Supervision of at least four (4) postgraduate students to completion as a Lecturer or Research Fellow
- Professional registration with the relevant professional body, where applicable
