## Title: Assistant Office Administrator III
Position Summary
The Nyali School seeks a dedicated Assistant Office Administrator III to support the School Main Office. This is a highly visible and varied role that provides comprehensive administrative services with confidentiality and professionalism. You will work closely with staff, parents, guardians, and learners by providing information and support as needed, working in direct support of the school's mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Take oral dictation and manage word and data processing
- Manage e-office systems and maintain e-office security
- Ensure security of office records, documents, and equipment
- Maintain an up-to-date and organized filing system
- Operate office equipment and manage office protocol
- Manage office petty cash and financial records
- Handle telephone calls, appointments, and schedule management
- Supervise office cleanliness and general maintenance
- Undertake other office administrative services and duties as assigned
Requirements for Appointment
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a mean grade of C- (minus) and at least C (plain) in English or Kiswahili Language, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC); OR
- Business Education Single and Group Certificates (BES & GC) from KNEC in the following subjects:
- Typewriting III (50 w.p.m.) / Computerised Document Processing III
- Shorthand II (80 w.p.m.)
- Business English II / Communications I
- Office Practice II
- Secretarial Duties II
- Commerce II
- Office Management III / Office Administration and Management III
- Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
Skills and Competencies

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
