## Title: Trade Representative – Assistant Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Trade Representative to drive sales growth and strengthen retail relationships across assigned routes. You will play a key role in ensuring optimal product visibility, availability, and sell-through in retail outlets while building lasting partnerships with retailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales volumes and achieve daily targets across your assigned route
  • Ensure products are available, visible, and well-placed in all retail outlets including dukas, beauty shops, and pharmacies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers to enhance brand loyalty and sales performance
  • List and promote new product developments (NPDs), ensuring timely introduction and collecting market feedback
  • Execute in-store merchandising, POSM placement, and activation plans to boost visibility and sell-out
  • Capture sales data, stock levels, and market insights accurately through the Sales App
  • Uphold company values by ensuring compliance, ethical conduct, and responsible management of trade floats and company assets

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–3 years' experience in field sales, route-to-market execution, or retail distribution within the FMCG sector
  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Solid understanding of retail environments and merchandising standards
  • Proficiency in Sales Apps and Microsoft Office tools
  • Familiarity and experience working in Central Nairobi and surrounding areas
  • Customer-centric, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
