## Title: Administrative Assistant

Position Overview

The School Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the school administrative system by handling enquiries, managing correspondences, and offering client and staff support to ensure smooth running of school operations.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Promote a school culture that is positive, purposeful and professional
  • Support and motivate students, teachers and other staff
  • Contribute to the development of a caring community within the school by encouraging commitment, courtesy, cooperation, tolerance and compassion towards one another
  • Promote the vision, mission, philosophy and core values of the school by incorporating these in performance objectives
  • Inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, parents and other clients

Specific Responsibilities

Admissions Support

  • Guide prospective parents and students through the admission process
  • Explain the range of services and benefits the school offers
  • Conduct campus tours for prospective and new parents, highlighting available facilities
  • Schedule and arrange assessments and bookings for child admission
  • Guide parents on completing student admission documents

Communications and Enrollment

  • Channel all school department communications to parents following approval by the Deputy Principal or School Principal
  • Ensure continuous growth in student numbers by working closely with the Administrator and Communications and Marketing Office

Record Management

  • File and update student registration documents in digiskool and iSAMS platforms
  • Manage physical backup filing of student registration documents
  • Assist the Administrator with sending reports not incorporated into iSAMS to parents via email (e.g. club reports, BTEC reports)
  • Ensure medical forms are forwarded to the Wellness Centre at the point of student admission for updating of medical records
