## Title: Adjunct Faculty - Pharmacognosy

Position Overview

The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy at United States International University – Africa seeks qualified applicants who fulfil the Kenyan Commission for University Education (CUE) and Pharmacy and Poison Board (PPB) requirements for an Adjunct Faculty position in Pharmacognosy.

Key Responsibilities

Teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in Pharmacognosy
Support and mentor students in their career endeavors
Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure programs remain current and marketable
Participate in program assessment and reviews
Engage in research within your area of expertise
Contribute to service activities for the University, the profession, and the community
Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
Master of Science degree in Pharmacognosy or related specialization
PhD in respective specialization (added advantage)

Professional Experience

Previous teaching experience (preferred)
Previous industry experience in natural product research (added advantage)
Requisite technological skills for remote teaching
