## Title: Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

Healthy U is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a talented Warehouse Supervisor to join our operations in Nairobi, Kenya. This role is central to optimizing warehouse efficiency, inventory management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure FIFO and LIFO inventory methods are adhered to when picking orders
  • Manage smooth stock movement, prioritizing fast-moving and slow-moving inventory
  • Arrange goods by brand and verify they are in good condition
  • Minimize backorders through effective order fulfillment by coordinating item availability across warehouses and sharing slow-moving SKUs
  • Support warehouse rebalancing initiatives
  • Monitor stock-out levels and provide stock-out lists to procurement for timely replenishment
  • Reduce operational lead times in picking, loading, and truck dispatch
  • Minimize transit loss and warehouse breakages, with proper cost accountability through invoicing procedures
  • Conduct quarterly stock takes and prepare stock-take reports for relevant stakeholders and planning purposes
  • Share sales order tracking on a daily or weekly basis
  • Report daily and weekly sales metrics that align with corporate warehousing strategy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse
  • Drive proactive improvements, innovation, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Monitor and control access and security to the damages cage
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse professional standards and best practices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong market knowledge and ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders
  • Good understanding of FMCG manufacturing operations
  • Exemplary planning skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Excellent team management skills
