Definition of a Volunteer A “volunteer” is a person who by choice and without financial compensation contributes time and service to assist Islamic Relief Kenya Office in fulfilling its mission.  Position Summary Islamic Relief Kenya is seeking committed and passionate Volunteers to support its Fundraising Department. The volunteers will assist in mobilising resources, engaging donors, and supporting fundraising activities and campaigns to strengthen the organisation’s humanitarian response. Key Responsibilities: - Support planning and implementation of fundraising campaigns and events - Assist in donor engagement, outreach, and awareness activities - Support documentation, data entry, and donor records management - Participate in community mobilisation and fundraising drives - Assist with marketing and promotional activities, including digital fundraising - Perform any other duties assigned by the Fundraising Team Required Qualifications: & Requirements - Diploma or Degree (completed or ongoing) in Marketing, Business, Development Studies, Communications, or a related field - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - High level of integrity and commitment to humanitarian values - Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision - Willingness to volunteer time and effort for a humanitarian cause - Prior volunteering or fundraising experience is an added advantage What We Offer  - Practical exposure in humanitarian fundraising - Capacity building and on-the-job learning opportunities - Certificate of volunteering upon successful completion - Opportunity to contribute to meaningful humanitarian work
