Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine consultations, vaccinations, and comprehensive physical examinations for small animals.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, including bloodwork, X-rays, and ultrasounds, to develop effective treatment plans.
- Perform soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures with a high level of proficiency.
- Manage acute cases and provide life-saving interventions as required during emergencies.
- Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care clearly to pet owners.
- Maintain accurate and detailed digital medical records for all patients.
- Must have at least two years of experience in small animal medicine, preferably within a clinic set-up.
- Must be registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB) and hold a current practicing certificate.
Requirements:
- At least two (2) years of hands-on experience in small animal medicine.
- Must be registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB).
- Must possess a valid and current KVB practicing certificate.
- Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) degree from a recognized institution
- Proven experience working in a private clinic or hospital set-up is highly preferred.
