About This Role

We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven salesman to join our team and make a significant impact in the automotive sales industry. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and establishing strong relationships with customers. This position requires a proactive approach to implementing sales strategies, maintaining customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
• Identify new business opportunities and customer segments to drive growth
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
• Develop and implement plans to maximize sales and market share
• Oversee day-to-day sales operations and ensure efficient workflow
• Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions
• Conduct end-of-day reconciliation on stocks, sales, and revenue; share daily reports
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback

Requirements

• Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent qualification
• KCSE mean grade of C+ with a C (plain) in mathematics
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in FMCG or related industry (an added advantage)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• High level of honesty, integrity, agility, and attention to detail
