An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Siaya National Polytechnic as a Trainer in Community Health.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus
• Prepare teaching and learning materials and schemes of work
• Develop technical teaching and training materials
• Set and mark examinations and assignments
• Supervise trainees on attachment
• Instruct, guide, and evaluate trainees in practical exercises
• Report on progress and overall performance of individual trainees
• Participate in development of curriculum and training programmes
• Undertake research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Community Health

Additional Requirements

• Background training in Competency-Based Education Training (CBET)
• Knowledge of pedagogy in education, training, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
• TVETA Registration
• Registration with relevant professional bodies (where applicable)
