Stock Controller

Job Responsibilities: - Receiving and Inspection: Accept deliveries, verify quantities, batch numbers and expiry dates against purchase orders, and inspect products for damage or expiration. - Inventory Management: Accurately track stock levels, perform regular physical counts, and ensure records match the physical inventory. Ensure FIFO system is maintained - Storage and Organization: Store products according to temperature requirements and other regulations, and keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. - Order Fulfillment: Prepare and issue products for distribution, ensuring all orders are accurate and authorized. - Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including proper disposal of expired or damaged goods. - Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all stock movements and assist with bill processing and reporting. - Support: Assist with other warehouse activities, such as packing for distribution or managing supplies, and help with data entry. - Reporting: Monitor and report to management on short expiry stock and slow moving stock. - Record keeping: Record damaged and expired stock and ensure inventory updated by finance. Liaise with finance and procurement for - destruction of expired and damaged stock. - Supervise and motivate the stores assistants - Ensure 100% accuracy of product picked with correct batches Requirements: - Education: A bachelor's degree or diploma in business management or procurement and stores management. - Experience: Previous experience of minimum 2 years in a warehouse or inventory management role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry, is beneficial. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills for data entry and reporting. - Other Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, physical stamina, and good communication abilities. - Knowledge: Team player, High integrity and attentive to detail.
