Specialist Clinical Officer (Paediatrics)

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for paediatric patients, including neonates, infants, children, and adolescents - Manage both acute and chronic childhood illnesses in accordance with established clinical guidelines - Provide specialized neonatal care, monitor growth and developmental milestones, and oversee routine immunization services - Respond promptly to paediatric emergencies and deliver appropriate life-saving interventions - Work closely with Paediatricians, Nurses, Nutritionists, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care - Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation Required Qualifications: & Experience: - Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery - Higher Diploma in Paediatrics and Child Health - Valid registration and practicing license with the Clinical Officers Council (COC) - BLS and PALS certification (added advantage) - Minimum 2 years post-specialization experience in a busy hospital setting
