## Title: Senior Sales Lead – Tourism & Hospitality

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to drive commercial growth and build strategic partnerships within Kenya's hospitality sector. You will lead sales strategy execution, manage high-value client relationships, and operationalize procurement systems across lodge partners.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Commercial Growth

  • Own and execute sales strategy to hit monthly revenue targets
  • Build and manage a pipeline of 100+ lodge opportunities with disciplined conversion metrics
  • Prioritize high-value lodge acquisitions to maximize revenue efficiency
  • Expand SKU penetration and wallet share across existing accounts

Build Strategic Partnerships

  • Cultivate trusted relationships with lodge owners, General Managers, and Executive Chefs
  • Develop joint business plans focused on cost savings and procurement efficiency
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with performance scorecards
  • Champion extreme customer-centricity in every interaction

Operationalize the Procurement System

  • Conduct lodge audits to uncover procurement gaps and savings opportunities
  • Launch predictive replenishment systems and WhatsApp-first ordering
  • Achieve 80–90% platform adoption across active lodge partners

Lead with Data & Accountability

  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and accurate weekly forecasting
  • Produce board-level sales dashboards and insights
  • Drive pricing discipline and gross profit margin improvement
  • Align sales forecasts with operations and inventory planning

Required Experience

  • 7+ years in B2B sales with proven success in complex, relationship-driven environments
  • Deep hospitality or tourism operations background – safari lodges, hotels, or tourism procurement strongly preferred
  • Established network across Maasai Mara lodge operators or other Kenyan safari clusters
  • P&L or territory ownership experience
  • Familiarity with inventory management, supply chain, or FMCG distribution
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales forecasting, and data-driven decision-making
