About the Role
The National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC) is expanding its team and seeking a dynamic professional to lead resource mobilization, strategic partnerships, and accountability initiatives. You will be responsible for implementing policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures that ensure effective management and control of syndemic diseases through strategic resource allocation and partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in grant proposal development, including Medium-Term Expenditure Framework processes and parliamentary budget approvals
- Develop and implement resource mobilization plans and strategies to secure necessary funding for syndemic disease programmes
- Support the development and implementation of private-public partnership strategies to leverage private sector competencies and resources
- Analyze donor financing trends and interests to inform sustainable financing strategies and advise senior management
- Generate and provide data and information to support negotiations for increased resources for syndemic disease programmes
- Monitor and oversee utilization of donor funds to ensure accountability and compliance
- Assess short- and long-term opportunities and challenges in resource allocation, utilization, and value for money
- Draft proposals for funding the Council's programmes and projects
- Prepare resource mobilization and partnership reports
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Public Health
- Medicine
- Epidemiology
- Health Economics
- Statistics
- Social Sciences
- Strategic Management
- Public Administration
- Project Management
- Policy and Planning
- Or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
