Position Overview
National Bank of Kenya seeks dedicated individuals for two Senior Relationship Manager positions within the Public Sector Banking Corporate Division. The role holder will be responsible for driving business growth through new business acquisition and portfolio expansion, while implementing Public Sector Banking Business Development initiatives. This position requires identifying innovative solutions, leveraging best practices, and ensuring exceptional customer experience and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Public Sector Banking Business Development initiatives in line with strategy and business growth plans
- Identify growth opportunities and new business acquisition through market research, analysis, and networking
- Develop, grow, and maintain a strong client and transaction pipeline, converting opportunities into profitable business while achieving customer satisfaction and strategic goals
- Actively market and drive uptake of Public Sector Banking services and products to new and existing clients
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for relevant products and services
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and engagement to foster strong, lasting business partnerships
- Promote excellent customer experience by advocating customer requirements across bank functions to deliver high service standards
- Ensure full compliance with Public Sector Banking standards and adherence to Bank policies and procedures
- Partner with Regional Management, Branch Management, and Support Functions to increase market share of the Public Sector Banking segment regarding customer numbers, products, service consumption, and revenues
- Proactively reduce the non-performing loan book
