Senior Lecturer - Law at Embu University College

Position Overview

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking an experienced academic professional to join as Senior Lecturer (Grade 13) in the Law department.

Required Qualifications

• Earned PhD degree in a relevant area of legal specialty
• Minimum five (5) years of university teaching experience, with at least three (3) years as a full-time Lecturer
• Minimum thirty-two (32) publication points, with at least twenty-four (24) from articles in refereed scholarly journals since appointment as Lecturer
• Successful supervision to completion of at least four (4) Masters students since appointment as Lecturer
• Evidence of securing at least one (1) research grant since appointment as Lecturer

Additional Requirements

• Evidence of attendance and active contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops
• Evidence of active participation and/or leadership in university activities
• Evidence of ongoing research engagement
