Key Responsibilities

• Assist management in evaluating the school's existing ICT systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement a data governance framework to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the institution's data
• Manage and monitor the organization's telecommunications infrastructure, including phones, mobile devices, and internet connectivity
• Manage and monitor the institution's servers, storage, and virtualization infrastructure, including cloud-based systems
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software assets
• Collaborate with central managers and heads of schools to develop and implement a business continuity plan to ensure the school can continue to operate in the event of an ICT system failure or disruption
• Develop and maintain documentation of the school's ICT systems and infrastructure, including user manuals, standard operating procedures, and technical specifications
• Manage and monitor the school's backup and recovery systems to ensure data can be recovered in the event of a disaster or data loss
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth integration of ICT systems and infrastructure with other institution systems
• Monitor and manage the institution's ICT-related expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, vendors, and service providers to ensure access to the best quality products and services at competitive prices
• Monitor the school's information security program, including risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response
• Assist operations department to conduct regular security awareness training to educate staff on how to identify and avoid common cyber threats
• Collaborate with other departments to support organizational ICT objectives
