Senior Accountant

Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in accounting, - Finance, or a related field is preferred. - Proficient in using accounting software and ms office, especially excel. - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Experience in quickbooks. - Experience in erp will be an added advantage. Experience: - At least 5 years experience as a senior accountant in a busy company. - Those with experience working in a marketing agency will have an added advantage. - One should have all rounded general accounting skills. Main responsibilities - Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. - Cost analysis and control. - Produce error free accounting reports and present their results. - Salary: kshs. 100,000 - 120,000 plus company benefits Main responsibilities contd. - Analyze financial information and summarize financial status. - Provide technical support and advice on management accountant. - Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers. - Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process. - Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule. - Assist with tax audits and tax returns. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance. - Develop and document business - Processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. - Preparation of cash flow projections and keep track of cash flow requirements of the organization. - Ensure the accounting financial records are in compliance with - Established policies, procedures and standards. - Submitting annual tax returns. - Coordinating with auditors in preparing audit reports
