About the Position

An established organization is recruiting a Scientific Coordinator to support scientific research coordination and network management.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB), Pharmacy, Dental Surgery, or a related discipline
• Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Science, Health Policy, or a related discipline (Master's degree in Medicine is an added advantage)
• Postgraduate Diploma, Master's degree, or Certificate in Clinical Research, Clinical Trials, or a related field

Required Experience

• Experience with data analysis using relevant statistical or analytical tools
• Demonstrated research experience, preferably in clinical studies
• Experience coordinating scientific networks in health and/or health research
• Demonstrated experience coordinating international workshops, conferences, and capacity-strengthening initiatives

Key Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
