KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Identify, target and actively seek out new sales prospects in the paper and packaging industry. - Comprehend market trends by conducting market research to identify potential customers. - Create and preserve a solid pipeline of potential candidates. - Present and market paper and packaging options to potential and existing clients. - Create and deliver persuasive ideas and sales presentations that are suited to the demands of the client. - Reach and surpass sales goals by negotiating and closing deals. - Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, comprehend their needs and offer continuing support including successfully attending to their needs and concerns. - Maintain regular communication with your clientele to guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction. - Work together with the sales manager to create and carry out successful sales tactics. - Participate in marketing campaigns and promotional events to raise brand recognition. - Create and apply excellent sales strategies and standardized procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness. - Develop and improve pricing models, go-to market plans and sales strategies in close collaboration with senior management. - Make strategic recommendations based on consumer feedback, competitive analysis and market trends. - Make use of sales technologies and tools to improve the sales process. - Develop and distribute dashboards and sales reports on a regular basis to the sales team and senior management. - Share sales results and offer suggestions for possible areas of development. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE - Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration. - 5 years’ experience in sales; preferably in the paper and packaging industry or a related field. - Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation and presentation skills. - A proven track record of meeting and surpassing sales targets. - Capacity to work independently while adopting a proactive and aggressive sales strategy. - Proficiency in computer applications and familiarity with CRM software; SAP preferred.
