About the Program

Girwa Radio 99.5FM invites applications for our Industrial Attachment Intake. This programme offers continuing students hands-on experience, professional exposure, mentorship, and practical training in a real broadcast environment, supporting youth empowerment and capacity building.

Program Duration

The attachment period is a non-renewable three (3) months, running from January 2nd to March 31st.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on the following criteria, evaluated on a strictly first-come, first-served basis:

• Relevance of course/programme of study
• Year of study (3rd & 4th year for undergraduate students; 2nd year for Diploma students)
• The station's ability to accommodate trainees
• Availability of attachment facilities and slots

Note: Girwa Radio 99.5FM has 10 attachment slots available for this intake.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a continuing 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student or 2nd year Diploma student from a recognized institution
• Complete the online application form and indicate their department of interest
• Attach a recommendation letter from their University or College
• Attach a copy of National ID or Passport
• Provide proof of registration for the Attachment/Practicum unit
• Pay the attachment training fee
