Girwa Radio 99.5FM invites applications for an Industrial Attachment programme designed to support youth empowerment and capacity building. This programme offers continuing students hands-on experience, professional exposure, mentorship, and practical training in a real broadcast environment.

Position Details

• Duration: 3 months (non-renewable)
• Location: Nairobi, Kenya
• Available Slots: 10 positions
• Selection Basis: First-come, first-served

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a continuing 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student OR 2nd year Diploma student from a recognized institution
• Complete the online application form indicating their department of interest
• Attach a recommendation letter from their University or College
• Attach a copy of National ID or Passport
• Provide proof of registration for the Attachment/Practicum unit
• Pay the required attachment training fee

Selection Criteria

• Relevance of course or programme of study to broadcast and media
• The station's ability to accommodate trainees
• Availability of attachment facilities and slots
• Year of study (priority given to 3rd & 4th year undergraduates and 2nd year Diploma students)
