## Title: Risk & Compliance Officer
Position Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our organization in a Risk & Compliance Officer role.
Operational Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and document risks, ensuring that action plans and mitigations are in place and being implemented
- Prepare regular quarterly reports on the status of risks, including new risks identified
- Create and implement risk awareness programs throughout the organization
- Assist in updating the Enterprise Risk Management framework and related policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Continuously research the internal and external risk environment to ensure proactive risk management programs are in place
- Undertake risk ratings reviews and scenario planning
- Maintain and update a company-wide inventory of risk registers
- Establish and monitor key risk indicators
- Analyze transactions, internal reports, and financial information for potential risks
- Advise on policies, procedures, and control self-assessment tools in response to identified risks
- Provide training and technical support to management and employees regarding risk management strategies and programs
- Enforce, implement, and train staff on risk policies and procedures
- Conduct quarterly risk reviews of company investments
- Conduct risk assessments to analyze areas of potential risk in investment and business support processes
- Report on company-wide potential risk areas and weaknesses
- Carry out investigations on the enterprise risk profile to certify that company risk standards and criteria are met
- Perform any other duties as assigned
