## Title: Relationship Manager – Retailer

Job Purpose

As a Relationship Manager – Retailer, you will be responsible for driving growth of the banking business within your portfolio. This includes acquiring new clients, selling banking products, ensuring excellent relationship management, expanding wallet share with existing clients, and increasing product utilization through cross-selling efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition and Onboarding

  • Actively identify and pursue new-to-bank customers utilizing market insight and networking skills
  • Establish rapport and communicate the bank's value proposition to build strong initial relationships
  • Expand the bank's client base through strategic prospecting and relationship development

Revenue Generation

  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and profitability within your portfolio
  • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and sustainable growth
  • Apply analytical skills and business acumen to drive financial performance

Deposit Mobilization

  • Play a pivotal role in optimizing liquidity management by mobilizing deposits from clients
  • Contribute to the bank's funding stability and ability to meet operational and lending requirements
  • Focus on acquiring CASA and transactional accounts to impact the bank's cost of funds positively
  • Attract low-cost deposits to enhance overall funding efficiency and competitiveness

Credit Portfolio Management

  • Actively engage with creditworthy clients to contribute to a well-balanced loan portfolio composition
  • Apply expertise in risk assessment and credit analysis to ensure prudent lending practices
  • Maintain alignment with regulatory guidelines in all credit decisions

Cross-Selling and Product Promotion

  • Promote and cross-sell banking products and services to existing and new clients
  • Increase product utilization and wallet share through strategic product recommendations
