Relationship Manager - Chinese Banking

About the Role

Family Bank Ltd seeks a dedicated Relationship Manager to oversee the management and development of the Chinese business segment. This role combines relationship building, sales leadership, and strategic business development to drive profitable growth within the Chinese banking portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive profitable revenue and volume growth by identifying new customer acquisitions, deepening existing customer relationships, and implementing cross-selling opportunities
• Achieve agreed sales targets for new accounts, assets, and liabilities by establishing and recruiting new banking relationships and managing growth with existing Chinese customers and Business Club members
• Train staff on Chinese banking services to enhance customer product awareness and service delivery
• Monitor business trends and competitor offerings through market intelligence gathering to maintain competitive advantage
• Identify and report potential and actual Money Laundering Risk, including suspicious transactions, in accordance with AML policies and procedures
• Manage Chinese customer requests and transactions in full compliance with Family Bank Ltd operational guidelines and procedures, maintaining zero tolerance for operational risk and fraud
• Develop, coach, motivate, and manage the performance of individuals and teams within the Chinese, Diaspora, and Business Club segments to achieve career and business goals
• Provide active leadership by contributing to the collective Leadership Agenda and sharing business insights and feedback with the Head of Retail Banking
• Model the Bank's Brand and Corporate Values in internal and external market environments
• Market Diaspora and Business Club services to customers
• Plan and execute calendar of events for Chinese and Business Club banking members
• Organize and manage international business exposure trips for Business Club members
• Develop annual learning programs for the Chinese and Business Club segments
