## Title: Regional Sales Manager – Fast-Moving Consumer Goods

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. The job holder will be responsible for ensuring area sales revenues are continuously enhanced to maximize returns on investment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and marketing expense controls
  • Execute the sales plan and meet established sales goals
  • Set individual sales targets with the sales team
  • Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team and provide ongoing training to salespeople
  • Assist in recruiting, objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Develop new avenues of marketing and lead generation
  • Equip the sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education
  • Understand ideal customers and how they relate to company products
  • Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with prospective consumers and related industries to strengthen partnerships
  • Leverage existing networks and expand the company's product reach and repeat business through relationship building and exceptional customer experience
  • Collaborate with the team to coordinate project implementation and customer service support, proactively addressing problems and customer issues to ensure satisfaction
  • Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers
  • Deliver strategic reporting on all sales activities including sales and prospecting activities, sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field from a reputable institution
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in fast-moving consumer goods
  • At least 2 years experience managing and directing a sales team
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication with the highest standards of professionalism
