A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this radiographer position in Nairobi, Kenya.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and radiological equipment for patient procedures
• Perform x-rays and radiological examinations as prescribed by medical practitioners
• Assist radiologists with special examinations, such as barium meals
• Process x-ray images, maintain documentation, and dispatch results
• Ensure all examinations are carried out in accordance with procedure protocols, considering patient conditions, physical abilities, and age requirements
• Maintain radiological patient registers
• Maintain consumables registers
• Participate in planning and executing departmental continuing medical education (CME) activities
• Provide image intensifier services as required
• Provide radiographic services in the Cath-lab
• Mentor junior radiographers

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or Bachelor of Science in Radiography
• Minimum two (2) years of working experience
• Registration and license from the Kenya Nuclear Radiological Authority (KNRA)
• Current membership with the Society of Radiography Kenya (SORK)
• Hands-on experience in MRI and CT imaging
