Project Manager (Construction)

About the Role

Our client, a leading global professional services company that partners with clients to deliver major projects and programmes that transform businesses, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple construction projects in the DRC. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, quality, cost control, and timely execution through effective stakeholder and governance management.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain partners to deliver compliant projects
• Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to prevent schedule delays
• Verify that effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized across all projects
• Ensure application of best practices on all projects
• Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required
• Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure approved design standards are being applied correctly
• Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
• Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications
• Forecast and update key project milestones
• Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders
• Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required
• Conduct independent reviews of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs from architects, contractors, and suppliers
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with clients to maximize new opportunities
• Provide strategic advice to project teams on approaches to successfully achieve client objectives and business goals
