Product Development Officer (Quality Control/Quality Analysis/R&D) at Sheer Logic

We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the consumer goods industry with focus on product development and research. Responsibilities - Conduct consumer research (qualitative and quantitative) and explore consumer needs from the results. - Understand product structure propose and implement product improvements to meet consumer needs. - Understand the machinery used to manufacture products and consult with engineers on equipment modifications to produce desired products. - Understand the materials used and be able to select and develop appropriate materials in conjunction with suppliers. - Design and select materials for packaging and cartons. - Understand package printing technology and be able to make appropriate improvement requests to packaging companies in case of printing problems. Requirements - Bachelor of degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or relevant field from a recognized institution. - Minimum of five years of experience in Quality Control, R&D in an FMCG set up is preferred. - Ability to generate new product ideas and improve existing ones. - Works seamlessly with R&D, quality assurance, marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. - Approaches product or process issues analytically and creatively.
