Qualifications Required

For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:

• Cumulative service period of nine (9) years relevant work experience, with at least three (3) years at the grade of Senior Engineer (Roads) or in a comparable position
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Professional qualification and membership with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK)
• Valid Annual Practicing License from the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK)
• Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
