## Title: PowerUp Program Officer
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to drive program implementation and support entrepreneurial development across Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating Programme Activities
- Coordinate work plan and budget development for program implementation
- Lead mobilization, selection, and onboarding of entrepreneurs
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of business skills training according to the entrepreneur's journey
- Conduct coaching and follow-ups with micro entrepreneurs, ensuring access to loans and disbursing matching grant-funding to selected entrepreneurs
- Work with Business Development Service (BDS) providers to develop training plans with applicable inclusive training methodologies that fit entrepreneur needs
- Collaborate with the Gender and Disability Inclusion Advisor (DIA) to ensure activities around gender and disability inclusion are carried out according to plan
Establishing Market Linkage Opportunities
- Conduct landscape mapping in focus counties to identify potential clients
- Ensure entrepreneurs are connected to buyers, suppliers, and other business partners through project activities
- Provide support, lobbying, and advocacy to strengthen activities of local associations and networks of enterprises established by the project
Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
- Align programme indicators to the M&E plan and track programme progress through monitoring tools
- Provide M&E information for programme work plans, field reports, quarterly reports, donor reports, and other related documentation in agreed formats and according to organizational deadlines
People Management
- Support BDS providers' development through coaching, mentoring, growth plans, improvement recommendations, and relevant training courses
Organizational Responsibilities
Support programme implementation through additional organizational duties as required.
