About the Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) as a Tutorial Fellow in Public Health. This is an entry-level position for Master's degree holders into the academic cadre. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a senior officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake teaching, research, and community outreach activities
• Participate in the development and review of academic programmes
• Guide and counsel students
• Supervise students in research projects at undergraduate level
• Administer examinations at undergraduate level
• Conduct student assessment
• Attend and participate in research conferences and seminars
• Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the University College

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Population Health, Public Health, Public Reproductive Health, Epidemiology & Disease Control, Monitoring & Evaluation, Community Health, Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent from an accredited and recognized University
• Bachelor's degree in Population Health from an accredited and recognized University
• Currently registered for Ph.D. in the area of specialty

Preferred Qualifications

• Current registration by relevant professional statutory bodies
• Membership in a professional association
• University teaching experience
• Proficiency in computer applications
