## Title: Lecturer in Community Health
About the Position
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Lecturer in Community Health to join our expanding team at Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) in Nairobi, Kenya. This is an entry-level position for PhD degree holders, working under the direct supervision of a senior officer.
Educational Requirements
- PhD or equivalent Doctoral degree in Population Health, Public Health, Public Reproductive Health, Epidemiology & Disease Control, Monitoring & Evaluation, Community Health, Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent from an accredited and recognized university
- Master's degree in Population Health, Public Health, Public Reproductive Health, Epidemiology & Disease Control, Monitoring & Evaluation, Community Health, Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent from an accredited and recognized university
- Bachelor's degree in Population Health from an accredited and recognized university
Professional Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at university level or in research/industry
- Minimum of 24 publication points, with at least 16 points from refereed journal papers
- Evidence of attendance and contribution at conferences, seminars, workshops, or symposia
Preferred Qualifications
- Current registration by relevant professional statutory bodies
- Membership in a professional association

Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures in your area of specialization in accordance with the syllabus
- Coordinate course projects and practical work
- Prepare teaching and learning materials
- Set, invigilate, and mark examinations and assignments
- Conduct research work in a relevant field or specialization
- Prepare student progress reports
- Develop proposals for research funding
- Write journal articles and books
- Present academic papers at conferences, seminars, workshops, and symposia
- Develop and review academic programs and curricula
- Supervise Tutorial/Junior Research Fellows and students
