Pharmaceutical Technologist at Pearl Hospital

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our pharmacy operations and contribute to delivering quality pharmaceutical services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs under supervision
• Participate in drug compounding and reconstitution as guided by licensed staff
• Stock, label, and organize medications and medical supplies
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances
• Assist in inventory management, including stock taking, ordering, and checking expiry dates
• Support pharmacovigilance by reporting any adverse drug reactions or incidents
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace
• Uphold patient confidentiality and handle all information with professionalism
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and in-house seminars as scheduled
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacist

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution
• Registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
