Patient Attendant

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Key Responsibilities: - Ensures patient safety - Maintains a clean and safe clinical environment - To be involved in helping nurses in their day-to-day patient management - To provide support services to the nursing departments - To transport patients in the facility - To transport equipment and supplies between different departments of the Hospital. - Clean and bathe patients. - Help patients use the toilet and dress. - Turn, reposition, and transfer patients between beds and wheelchairs. - Listen to and record patients' health concerns and report that information to nurses. - Measure patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature. - Any other duty as may be assigned Skills: - Confidentiality and integrity - Self Driven - Good Communication and organizational skills - Excellent team work skills KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Certificate in Patient Care Attendant - 2 years experience in the field, experience in a mental institution is an added advantage
