Manager – Corporate Valuations & Advisory

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to lead our valuation practice and deliver comprehensive advisory services to a diverse range of clients and sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the valuation practice, manage deliverables, review financial models, and engage with clients
• Conduct financial modelling and business valuation services for a wide range of clients across multiple sectors
• Provide valuation advice for financial reporting and tax-related purposes
• Support transaction processes with deal value assessments, cost of capital analysis, and capital management advice
• Prepare independent expert reports and fairness opinions for business owners regarding proposed transactions, divestitures, transfer of shares into trustees, borrowings, and related matters
• Conduct portfolio company reviews to enhance business performance and support investment or exit decisions for holding companies, venture capital, and private equity firms
• Prepare investor pitch decks including teasers and information memoranda
• Conduct both buy-side and vendor due diligence
• Develop deal origination and pipeline opportunities
• Coach and develop junior team members to ensure high-quality service delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, financial engineering, or actuarial science
• At least 4 years of experience in a corporate finance advisory role
• Hands-on experience in financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence

• Able to provide insights to experienced business owners and industry leaders through in-depth interpretation of company financials and macro-economic data
• Agile and able to deal with ambiguity
• Capable of delivering quality output in an unstructured work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion or ongoing pursuit of professional credentials such as CIFA, CPA, or CFA

• Share of success fees on all closed deals worked on
