## Title: Legal Secretary

Role Objective

A medium-sized law firm headquartered in Nairobi seeks a qualified secretary to enhance operational efficiency and support senior management in delivering business development initiatives.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise junior staff and delegate tasks as needed
  • Prepare bids, tenders, proposals, and presentations to support business development timelines
  • Handle all correspondence via mail, phone calls, and other communication channels
  • Manage administrative and secretarial duties
  • Prepare administrative and operational reports
  • Oversee office utility bills, ensure timely payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts
  • Organize meetings, office events, and industry-relevant activities
  • Serve as key liaison between the office and stakeholders including government authorities, suppliers, clients, and staff
  • Organize and maintain the Director's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings proactively and efficiently
  • Prepare meeting briefs, minutes, and reports
  • Provide administrative support to the Partner as required
  • Represent the Partner and management in meetings as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
