Lecturer / Senior Lecturer - Geography at Taita Taveta University (TTU)

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking talented academics to join as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Geography.

Requirements - Lecturer (Grade 12)

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Geography or relevant field from an accredited and recognized university
• Registration with relevant professional body (where applicable)

Requirements - Senior Lecturer (Grade 13)

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Geography or relevant field from an accredited and recognized university
• Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at university level as a Lecturer, or six (6) years of research/industry experience
• Minimum of four (4) articles in refereed journals, or minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent (of which at least twenty-four (24) must be from refereed scholarly journals)
• Supervision of at least three (3) post-graduate students at Masters or PhD level to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent
• Registration with relevant professional body (where applicable)
