Requirements for Appointment

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification in a relevant field from a recognized/accredited university (or Master's degree qualification in special cases)
• Minimum of 24 publication points, with at least 16 from refereed journal papers
• Registration or registrability with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Lecturing in their area of specialization in accordance with the approved syllabus
• Coordinating course projects and practical work
• Preparing teaching and learning materials
• Setting, invigilating, and marking examinations and assignments
• Conducting research work in their relevant field or specialization
• Preparing student progress reports
• Developing proposals for research funding
• Writing journal articles and books
• Presenting academic papers at conferences, seminars, workshops, and symposia
• Developing and reviewing academic programmes and curricula
