## Title: Lecturer in Electrical Engineering & Digital Electronics
Job Summary
The successful candidate will report to the Dean of the School of Science and Technology (SST) and will be expected to teach, conduct research, and engage in service performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach at undergraduate and graduate levels in Electrical Engineering and Digital Electronics
- Support and mentor students in their career endeavors
- Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure programs are up-to-date and marketable
- Participate in program assessment and reviews
- Supervise students' research projects, theses, and dissertations at undergraduate and graduate levels
- Conduct research in your area of expertise
- Engage in service to the University, the profession, and the community
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Educational Qualifications
- An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Digital Electronics, or a related field from an accredited and recognized university
- OR a Master's degree in a related area from an accredited university
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body
Minimum Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in teaching and/or industrial experience in the relevant field
- Minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points as per CUE Standards & Guidelines (2014), with at least sixteen (16) from refereed scholarly journal papers
- Registration or current enrollment for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent doctoral degree qualification
- Registration with the relevant professional body
