## Title: Lecturer in Electrical Engineering & Digital Electronics
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified lecturer to join the School of Science and Technology at USIU Africa. The successful candidate will report to the Dean and be expected to teach, conduct research, and engage in service performance across undergraduate and graduate levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach at undergraduate and graduate levels in Electrical Engineering and Digital Electronics
- Support and mentor students in their career development
- Participate in curriculum development to ensure programs remain current and relevant
- Participate in program assessment and review activities
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations at undergraduate and graduate levels
- Conduct research within your area of expertise
- Engage in service activities for the University, the profession, and the community
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Educational Qualifications
Applicants must have one of the following:
- An earned PhD or equivalent doctoral degree qualification in a relevant field from an accredited and recognized university, with registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body
OR
- A Master's degree in a related field from an accredited university
Minimum Professional Experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in teaching and/or industrial experience in the relevant industry
- A minimum of 24 publication points as per CUE Standards & Guidelines (2014), of which at least 16 must be from refereed scholarly journal papers
- Registration or enrollment in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent doctoral degree qualification program
- Registration with the relevant professional body
