Requirements for Appointment

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• PhD degree in Biology from a recognized and accredited institution
• Master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution

Academic and Research Credentials

Applicants must demonstrate one of the following publication records:

• A minimum of 12 publication points from refereed scholarly journals and 2 points from abstracts presented at conferences, OR
• A minimum of 32 publication points from a research institution, OR
• A minimum of 6 publication points from practice/industry

Additionally:

• No more than 2 articles should appear in a single issue or volume of a journal or other scholarly publication
• Evidence of evaluated effective teaching must be provided

Professional Recognition

• Registration with relevant regulatory bodies (where applicable)
• Membership or affiliation with relevant professional bodies (where applicable)
