Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Junior School Teacher to deliver engaging instruction in Social Studies and Kiswahili. The ideal candidate will be passionate about learner-centered education and committed to fostering academic excellence and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, learner-centered, and well-structured lessons in Social Studies and Kiswahili aligned with the approved curriculum
• Prepare and implement subject-specific schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional resources to support effective teaching and learning
• Apply a variety of teaching methodologies and learning resources to address diverse learning styles and academic abilities
• Collaborate with fellow subject teachers and the curriculum coordinator to plan, implement, and evaluate interdisciplinary projects and assessments
• Provide clear explanations of concepts, practical activities, and real-life applications to enhance learner understanding and engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Secondary Teaching Education with subject specialization
• 5 years of relevant teaching experience
• TSC (Teachers Service Commission) Registration
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
