Junior Designer

We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our Nairobi team. You will support the creation of visually compelling designs that reflect Ando’s brand across digital, social, and print channels. What you’ll do: - Design & create digital assets for social media posts, campaigns, website banners, emails, and mobile app graphics. - Support print design projects, including in-store materials, menus, packaging, promotional flyers, and signage. - Maintain brand consistency across all visual touchpoints, ensuring colors, typography, and style guidelines are followed. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns. - Prepare design files for production, ensuring all formats, dimensions, and specifications are correct. - Contribute to video and motion content, including short social clips, GIFs, and basic animations when needed. - Organize and manage the design asset library, ensuring all files are properly labeled, archived, and easily accessible. - Monitor trends and bring fresh ideas to campaigns, helping the brand stay visually relevant and engaging. - Support ad-hoc creative requests from other departments, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality. - Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing creative input to campaign concepts and brand initiatives. You’ll excel in this role if: - You have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. - You have 0–2 years of experience in graphic design or a creative role (internships count). - You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects a plus). - You have strong visual storytelling, layout, and typography skills. - You pay attention to detail and are highly organized. - You are creative, collaborative, and open to feedback. - You are comfortable managing multiple tasks and tight deadlines. - You are interested in food, lifestyle, or brand marketing and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
