About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated IT Technician to provide comprehensive technical support and maintain digital infrastructure across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining all company digital devices, providing frontline IT support to staff, and ensuring network and system security.

Key Responsibilities

Device Support & Asset Management

• Set up, configure, and maintain company laptops, phones, printers, tablets, and other digital devices
• Ensure proper device tagging, inventory tracking, and documentation in the IT asset management system
• Perform routine troubleshooting, software updates, and preventive maintenance
• Coordinate device repairs, replacements, and warranty claims
• Support implementation of device usage policies and access controls across user levels

User Support & Training

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues across departments (onsite and remote)
• Respond to user requests efficiently and document solutions for knowledge sharing
• Provide basic training to staff on digital tools, applications, and cybersecurity awareness
• Collaborate with the Technology team to roll out new systems and ensure user adoption
• Maintain a culture of excellent service, communication, and accountability

Network & Systems Security

• Monitor and maintain local networks, routers, access points, and cabling
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across multiple sites and coordinate with service providers when needed
• Support network configuration for IoT devices including feed systems, cameras, and sensors
• Assist in implementing and enforcing data protection and password policies
• Monitor network and system security, mitigating cybersecurity risks
