IT Administrator at CKL Africa

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to manage our IT infrastructure and security operations at CKL Africa in Nairobi.

Responsibilities

• Administer servers and database systems ensuring 99.5% uptime
• Manage network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, and telephony systems
• Implement and monitor security systems, conduct patch management, and ensure compliance
• Oversee backup systems and coordinate quarterly disaster recovery testing
• Collaborate with application and BI teams to support integrated business operations

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Network Engineering
• 3-4 years' experience in infrastructure and systems administration
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking protocols, and security tools
• Experience with cloud services (Azure/AWS)
• Certifications in CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Server Administration preferred
